You won't be able to take advantage of the welcome bonus if you have had an active Marriott AMEX or received a points upgrade offer from a Marriott AMEX in the past 30 days, or if you were approved for a Marriott AMEX in the past 90 days.

While there is no automatic free night benefit with these cards, cardholders who spend $15,000 per year will receive a free night valid at hotels that cost up to 50,000 points. Marriott also offers a 12-month extension on anniversary nights if needed, and you can add up to 15,000 points to the certificate to use it at hotels up to 65,000 points per night.

Another perk of the Marriott Bonvoy Bevy AMEX is the Gold Elite status it offers. With this status, you'll enjoy a 25% bonus on points, 2pm late checkout, a points amenity, and more. Having the card also earns you 15 elite night credits, and when combined with a Marriott business card, you can reach higher elite tiers.

The card also includes AMEX Offers, which allow you to earn statement credits at select stores registered in your AMEX account. This adds even more value to your card membership.

To earn the welcome bonus, you'll need to spend $4,000 within three months. You can explore creative ways to meet this spending requirement, such as paying your federal taxes or prepaying bills that accept credit card payments, like natural gas or electricity bills.

One notable feature of the Marriott Bonvoy Bevy AMEX is the ability to transfer Marriott points to airline miles. By transferring 60,000 Marriott points, you can receive 25,000 airline miles, or 27,500 miles with United. Many airlines also offer bonuses for hotel point transfers, making this a valuable option for maximizing your points and miles.

Cardholders also receive free premium in-room internet access at Marriott hotels, ensuring a seamless online experience during your stays.

If you decide that the Marriott Bonvoy Bevy AMEX isn't the right fit for you in the long run, you have the option to convert it to the Marriott Bonvoy AMEX with a $95 annual fee or the Marriott Brilliant AMEX with a $650 annual fee. However, keep in mind that converting or canceling the card within 12 months may result in a loss of bonus points
